Welcome to the Nevada Homeless Alliance Volunteer Registration form - we're glad you're here.  Our volunteers are part of our Care Squad and are the backbone of our programming and we couldn't do what we do without volunteers like you!  There's lots of ways to get involved and help our homeless neighbors connect to much needed support and services, and we're so grateful for your interest and commitment to volunteering.

Connect Event Volunteer: Connect Event Volunteers make our Connect Events (Pop-up PHC, PHC, Family Connect, Youth Connect, Health Connect, etc) possible! As a Connect Event Volunteer you may be asked to help with event set-up/ break-down, provider and volunteer check-in, guest line management, event navigator, live data-basing, help with general event disinfecting, and/or help with guest check-in/ exit. (Requirements: Minors are welcome when accompanied by a guardian, Generally between 4-6 hours of service)
Connect Store Volunteer: Connect Store Volunteers help with receiving and organizing clothing, set-up and break down of clothing store, keeping track of items given away the day of the event and packing up after event. This role may include transportation of clothing from our office to the event location. (Requirements: Minors are welcome when accompanied by a guardian (at certain locations only, must advise NHA staff in advance), Generally between 4-6 hours of service)
Outreach Volunteer: Outreach Volunteers are key to helping spread the word. Outreach Volunteers can help virtually by sharing our events on social media and/or can join us for outreach expeditions. Our outreach expeditions are generally the Saturday before a Connect Event. (Requirements: Must be 18+ yrs, Generally between 1-2 hours of service)
Administrative Volunteer:  Administrative Volunteers help support our administrative processes behind the scenes. There are a number of support tasks like data-basing, event organizing, and other in-office needs. (Requires Virtual Volunteer Orientation, Must be 18+ yrs, Generally between 1-4 hours of service)
Advocacy Volunteer: Advocacy volunteers are crucial in letting our lawmakers know our community cares about policies that directly impact our homeless community in Southern Nevada. As an Advocacy Ally, you may reach out to our local, state, and federal representatives, share advocacy alerts on social media, and help advocate on behalf and with our homeless neighbors. (Requirements: N/A)
Vaccine Clinic for the Homeless Community Volunteer: We have been hosting no barrier access to COVID-19 Vaccines through our Vaccine Clinic for the Homeless Community clinics. We strongly recommend volunteers at these events be fully vaccinated. VC volunteers will help at the Exit station, data-basing, and helping sanitize materials.
Special Projects Volunteer: Our NHA team helps our community whenever possible and sometimes we work on special projects as needed.  Special Project Volunteers may be asked to help with new programs, donation drives, and other temporary program needs. (Requirements: N/A)
