Neurodivergent Storytime Needs Survey
The Leighton Township Library has received funds from the Allegan County Community Foundation's TAG grant to develop a monthly Neurodivergent Storytime as well as to make our weekly Storytime and other youth programs more inclusive to everyone. Neurodivergent is a nonmedical term that describes people whose brains develop or work differently for some reason. This means the person has different strengths and struggles from people whose brains develop or work more typically. Some common conditions of neurodiversity are autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, down syndrome and others.
We would love to hear from parents, caregivers and teachers how we can best adapt our program for everyone. Thank you for helping us with your feedback!
Email: only if you would be willing to be contacted for more specific information. This is optional.
