Fem Flava is a conference for womxn of color in the Bronx that connects them to the community through local resources and networks. The conference promotes a safe space where womxn can engage in a discourse that challenges and redefines feminism and the way it impacts our daily lives.The community is invited to attend workshops,  performances and more. Food, refreshments, and raffles throughout the day. Youth groups are strongly encouraged to attend.

Fem Flava has always been a day to create space for and celebrate womxn identified people of color.  WoC are at the forefront of all political and social movements.  Even when we aren’t active in our work, our minds are usually processing current events worldwide.  And it can be heavy.  We must take care of our being in order to continue the work.  Taking care of ourselves is an act of resistance. This year’s event will be a day to recharge and share our best practices with each other.
