Black Bears are amazing animals and much of Ontario is "Bear Country". Below is some more information about Black Bears from "Bear Wise".

There is an old saying that "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Avoiding human-bear encounters while outdoors in "Bear Country" is the best way keep people (and bears) safe. Below is some "Bear Wise" tips to avoid human-bear interactions. Read through them then answer the questions.
