Nature Play with Vanessa
Nature Play classes follow the research-based, expert designed Tinkergarten curriculum. Each lesson is engineered to help kids become healthy, kind, creative, curious and capable learners. Classes include songs, movement, exploration, and purposeful child-led play! Each week we will learn about a featured creature and have a unique invitation to play. Each season will focus on a different core skill and theme. Classes will end with lemonade or apple cider and story time.  This class is recommended for ages 18 months to 5 years!

Summer 2024 Season
Core Skill: Sensory Play

Children (and adults) often retain new learning better when the senses are an active part of the learning. 

The Tinkergarten Summer Curriculum is designed to help each child strengthen and balance their senses in the great outdoors. Come join us for some messy fun!

Classes will be offered: Wednesday or Thursday 9:30-10:45*

Starting June 12/13  (No class June 19/20. Class will meet on 7/4.) Ending July 31/August 1

7 Week Session (for the price of 6) for $150. Make-Up Classes will not be available.

*Due to Heat: All classes begin at 9:30 AM. A large portion of the class time will utilize available shade but hats and sunscreen are encouraged. Summer paid classes include story time and lemonade!!! Water or ice will be incorporate into play as needed.

The teacher, Vanessa Yambot, is deeply committed to every child’s safety and carefully assesses and manages danger in all of our activities. However, there are risks inherent in any youth activity. Each family must complete a release of liability form before participating in class. This form is available on the website and will also be available to complete before class.

Acknowledgement of Risk and Consent for Treatment: I acknowledge that there are risks inherent in any youth program, including by not limited to injury arising from: participation in physical activity; participant’s failure to follow instructions given by the teacher; communicable illness; and independent acts of third parties not under the control of the teacher. I acknowledge that all risks cannot be prevented, and assume those beyond the control of the teacher. In order to minimize risks to my child or other participants, I will take responsibility to see that my child is prepared for all activities and is in good health each day of class. In case of medical emergency, I understand that every reasonable attempt will be made to contact me. However, in the event that I cannot be reached, I give my permission to the teacher in charge of the class to secure emergency medical treatment for my child. I agree to pay for any charges for emergency medical treatment that are not covered by my personal health insurance.
