WPHS "Lights Up" Summer Theatre Camp Registration
Thank you for your interest in our "Lights Up Summer Theatre Camp"!! We are thrilled to bring this opportunity to the West Park community as a way of connecting aspiring, young actors to our dynamic Theatre Arts program at West Park High School. 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: May 24th, 2024 (to give us time to get shirts ordered for the first day of camp)

DESCRIPTION:
This camp is for any K - 8th grade student interested in theatre or musical theatre. Actors will be split into groups by age. Each group will have a unique track that they follow every day covering classes ranging from Ensemble Building, Improv Games, Costume Design, Choreography, Vocal Technique, Characterization, and Scene Study. All workshops/ classes will be lead by current West Park High School Theatre Arts Department Students and Alumni under the supervision of our program director, Kat DeLapp. 

At the end of the camp, all groups will participate in a Performance Showcase in the Grove Theater at West Park High School. This will be a share out with all age groups showcasing what they have learned during their time at camp. 

COST: Ranges from $250 - 500 *** Please see below for details
Our "Petite Players" (K-2nd) will be offered TWO one week sessions. Families may sign up for one or both!
The cost for one week of Petite Players Camp = $250
The cost for both weeks of Petite Player Camp = $400

The cost for our 3rd - 8th grade campers will start at $400 for 2 weeks and increase by $50 every month up until the registration deadline.

(NOTE: This program serves as an outreach opportunity and fundraiser for our program, your participation fee will come with (1) a Camp T-shirt for your actor(s), (2) supply daily snacks/drinks, (3) and help with costume expenses. )

Camp Times = Drop Off from 8:30 - 9am; Camp runs from 9am - 3pm, Pick Up from 3pm - 3:30pm

Performance Showcase will be on Friday, June 21st @4pm
