Group Expectations:
  • All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Participants MUST wear closed-toe shoes; it's recommended to wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. 
  • The service site will provide work gloves and the necessary tools.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles.
  • We will be working outdoors! Service projects are weather-dependent, so the site will be in touch if there's bad weather forecasted for the day.
  • If a participant is sick on the day of service, the site asks that the participant not attend so that we can keep lemurs and staff healthy. (Please notify OIS as well by emailing mkharney@ncsu.edu.)

OIS will provide transportation. We will offer 2 pick-up locations on campus: Hunt Library and Talley Student Union. Below, please indicate the location where you'd like to be picked up and dropped off.
Check your personal and academic calendars in advance to make sure you will be available and won't have any scheduling conflicts. Please only sign up if you are fully committing to join us for this service event. We reserve and pay for vans for ISSERV transportation based on the number of participants. If you end up getting sick, having an injury, or something else beyond your control that morning, please notify us as soon as possible. *
