The IAN Summer Learning Professional Community is ideal for those with a desire to create high quality summer programs. Participation has many benefits for those leading summer programs. In addition to learning about the Wallace Foundation Summer Learning Toolkit, participants will:
connect with colleagues around the state responsible for planning summer learning programs
create space in which to ask questions and learn from one another
share resources, challenges and successes
IAN Professional Communities are intentional connections and conversations with colleagues in out of school time. Members work together to deepen the understanding of their experiences and seek out the best evidence among the community to help them develop their practices and their profession. The IAN Summer Learning Professional Community is ideal for those with a desire to create a high quality summer programs.
The Afterschool Professional Learning Community will meet the First and Third Thursday of the month, 11:30am-12:30pm EST.
