New York Times columnist Maureen Down recently wrote about the role of literature and the performing arts in shaping young minds and characters: "Before we experience life, how do we learn about life? Novels, plays, TV, dance, music, and movies teach us how to live by giving us examples of experiences we have never had and some that we're not likely to have."

All four plays in our 2024/25 mainstage season – The Wanderers, American Moor, Much Ado About Nothing, and The 39 Steps – present fascinating life experiences that you and your students will find illuminating and entertaining. We look forward to welcoming you and your students back to the Lantern!
