Applicants for the Community Engagement Medallion are undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who will receive their respective degrees from May 2022-December 2022.

This must be submitted no later than 5pm on March 21st.

To be fully considered, submit your 2022 Community Engagement Medallion Application AND completed Recommendation Letter.

CRITERIA AND SELECTION
A committee comprised of faculty, staff, and community partners will review and score applications. Applications should reflect a breadth (variety) and depth (quality) of experience in several different community/civic engagement experiences.

NOTIFICATION AND RECOGNITION
Applicants will be notified of their selection for this award by April 8th, 2022. Recipients will receive a medallion and a certificate recognizing their accomplishments. Recipients are expected to attend the Seeds of Change Award Ceremony held annually at the end of the spring semester hosted by Social Action and Integrative Learning.

This year's award ceremony will take place on April 26th, 2022 from 1pm-3pm in the HUB Ballroom. Family and friends are welcome to attend the ceremony and we will also provide a link for individuals to participate virtually.  Recipients are also encouraged to wear the medallion at their school’s commencement ceremonies.
