Chadbourne SSC Member Nominations for the 2021-22 School Year
Chadbourne’s School Site Council (SSC) is a committee of parents, faculty and staff that meet the first Tuesday of every other month at 6:00 pm in the Chadbourne faculty lounge. SSC is the decision-making body charged with evaluating school academic programs, approving discretionary budget allocations, and meeting the program needs for different learning groups.
Please join this committed group of parents and staff dedicated to serving the Chadbourne community. Your voice can make a difference to our school.
For the 2021-22 School Year the following positions are available:
• 3 full membership positions (a 2 year commitment)
• 3 alternate positions (a 1 year commitment)
School Site Council is composed of minimum of ten voting members (5 parents and 5 faculty/staff) and two parent alternates. The two parent alternates are participating members of the council but exercise no voting rights. If an elected parent member cannot be present at a meeting, an alternate can be designated to attend in that member’s place. Alternates serve for a single year term while elected SSC members serve a two-year term, participate fully in discussions, and exercise a vote.
