Winter Solstice Countdown & Celebration

Join Erin for daily videos where she'll be sharing a segmented story designed for a 21-day journey through Winter Solstice. The story centers upon Deer Mother & The Light. The Deer Mother is a figure in ancient folklore associated with the Winter Solstice. Each section aligns with a specific day and activity from the countdown calendar. The countdown will take us to Dec. 21st, which will be our Winter Solstice Celebration potluck party!


Celebration Potluck 
Date: Friday, January 12
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (arrive at 5:45 p.m. to get settled in)
Location: Unity of Tustin, Victoria House, 14402 Prospect Ave., Tustin, CA 92780


What to expect:
  • We will meet in Victoria House living room (next to the Labyrinth). 
  • Greeting and food
  • Opening 
  • Solstice spiral candle lighting
  • Poetry Reading 
  • Nature activities/craft stations (inside)
  • Yule log & hot chocolate (outside)
  • Meditation garden glow walk (outside)
  • Closing (inside)

Consider bringing:
  • An item to share at the potluck
  • Jacket, hat, gloves, small blanket
  • Water bottle
  • Making a donation to cover supplies
