NOTE
This event is only open to CHOA residents who are familiar with Pickleball, have played before, and have their own equipment. This event is not appropriate for Pickleball beginners.

Each participant will need to bring their own equipment. Pickleball balls will be provided.

If possible, we respectfully request that participants walk to the Pickleball courts. Parking in the courts near the Pickleball areas is limited.
Tournament Information
This tournament will be put on by Patricia Strazzi, the Pickleball instructor who put on our introductory classes last year shortly after the Pickleball courts were installed.

Patricia’s tournaments are fun and social oriented, and not super competitive. She believes folks play better when they are having fun! Prizes will be given out to everyone who participates.

The tournament will last about an hour and half, with each player participating in 6 games. Each game will have a different partner, lasting around 13 minutes with a break for water in between. You do not need to have a partner to sign up – singles welcome!

A maximum of 16 spots are available for this tournament. Because of this limit, no more than 2 individuals per household may participate. Anyone is welcome to attend and watch the tournament from outside the lower court fence. Once we have received 16 RSVPs, we will create a waiting list for those still interested.

Please ensure that you show up on time if RSVPing. A CHOA representative will be on site to ensure that those participating have RSVPed. Only those who RSVP will be able to participate.

If you have any questions, please contact the General Manager at 925-687-9961 or by email at businessoffice@walnutcountry.com.
