2022 Roam Fest Sedona BIPOC Scholarship Application
LOCATION: Sedona, AZ (intermediate to expert riders only)
DATES: November 4-6, 2022

Roam Fest is a three day party for women-identifying and non-binary riders (who are comfortable in women centered spaces) all gathered for one purpose: to spend a weekend on the trails and playing bikes in a world-class riding destination. We are firm believers that the outdoors is for everyone, no matter their age, race, ability, body type, gender, sexual orientation and economic status. At Roam we are working to create more diverse, equitable and inclusive spaces for ALL riders and hope by providing this scholarship, we can alleviate the financial stress that is often a barrier for folks who belong to historically marginalized communities.

What does the scholarship include? :
- Free Festival pass Admission
- Free Bike Demo ticket (good for the full festival)
- Potential to qualify for travel funds ($100 or $300)
- Test rides/demo of bikes, wheels, & gear
- Shuttles to and from group rides
- 80+ group rides over the weekend
- Dinner Fri & Sat nights
- Bike workshops, panels, & presentations
- Women focused adventure film screening
- Much much more!

* Unless otherwise communicated, scholarship recipients will be responsible for planning their own travel to and from the event, as well as lodging during the festival.

Eligibility requirements:
-  Must 18 years of age or older and COVID-19 vaccinated.
- Must be able to attend all 3 days of the festival
- Must be a Black, Indigenous, Woman of Color including Trans Women of color, nonbinary and genderqueer folk comfortable in women centered spaces.

More about the Roam 20% pledge:
Creating equity in the outdoors starts with action and access. We pledge to hold 20% of our event registration for BIPOC riders. Additionally, we actively welcome LGBTQ+ folks who identify as female or non-binary folks to join our events. We are committed to celebrating & promoting diversity in outdoor spaces for historically marginalized communities and providing a safe space for all who ride with us.
