INSTRUCTIONS- REVIEW CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLICATION SUBMISSION:

Processing time may be up to 7 days.  

The following only apply to Government/Open Carry permit applications:

Active/retired Trenchport Law Enforcement Officers and Trenchport Department of Corrections Officers are exempt from training. These officers may apply for an open carry permit.

All other government officials must submit current legal and firearm training documentation provided by the chief of police. Once provided these officers may apply for an open carry permit. This includes but is not limited to:

Bail or Bond Agents, Probation Parole Officer, Security Officers, Court Officers, Medical Examiners, etc.
