2024 Confirmation Retreat Registration
  Retreat Date - Sunday, March 3, 2024
**Please return by February 26, 2024  Cost $30 - payment by cash or check only  The cost is for the student.  There is no cost for the Sponsor.

The spiritual experience that we have planned for our Confirmation candidates will be conducted by Paul Masek, a retreat leader at the Marianist retreat Center.  He comes with years of experience of working with and leading teen retreats.  He shares a deep faith and enthusiasm for Jesus and will use a variety of personal witness talks, activities, music, adoration, and prayer.  Please do not bring electronic items (iPod, tablet, etc.) as there is no time allotted for the use of these items.  All cell phones need to be turned off and only used for emergencies.  Any cell phone use during the retreat (texting, tweeting, etc.) will result in the phone being confiscated and returned after the retreat has been dismissed.

Please be on time.  Early dismissal is NOT allowed.

Time:  9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Candidations are asked to attend 9:30am mass at Sts Joachim and Ann parish and then go to the Care Service building for the retreat
Who:  8th Grade Candidates and Sponsors
If a Sponsor can't attend, they can have a parent attend in the Sponsor's place. 
Where:  Sts. Joachim & Ann Church and the Sts. Joachim & Ann Care Service
We will begin the retreat with 9:30 am Mass at Sts. Joachim & Ann Church.  Candidates can sit anywhere in church with their family and Sponsor.  After Mass, parents/Sponsors can drive to the Care Service - 4116 McClay Road.  Candidates and Sponsors should use the main front doors to check in, receive nametags, and find their seats.  Parents that need to pick-up their teens can at 4:30 pm on the Care Service parking lot.  Please do not enter the building.
Cost:  $30.00
Payment can be made by cash or check and given to either the school or PSR office.  The $30 includes the candidate and Sponsor.
Lunch is provided.  Pizza, salad, assorted fruits/cookies, soda/water.  If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please contact the Religious Education Office at wieschhausr@stsja.org.
