Dear Teachers,

Thank you for supporting your students involvement in the VYOA Summer Symphony Program. Below is a brief Skills Assessment to be filled out by either private or school music instructors. All students will perform in the same large ensembles so this is not considered a placement form. The information provided will allow us to choose repertoire that is appropriate for the general skill level of the students attending Summer Symphony Camp and to help us determine part assignments. Teachers: we really appreciate your careful consideration in filling out this form so that we can best serve the young musicians attending camp this summer. We ask that you fill this out for each of your students attending the camp.
