Sub-Team Descriptions
1. Applications: Your phone is your best camera. Why not use it as a webcam? There exists an open-source project called VDO.Ninja that does exactly that, but it could do with some polishing. Learn to plan out and contribute to your favorite Open-Source projects from scratch, including some skills that are widely applicable to all project development.

2. ML/AI: The project is to develop an AI-chatbot tailored for UIUC courses by training a Llama LLM model on course resources. There will be a frontend web component with a simple chat-response feature to provide students with info about classes, how to do stuff around campus, etc. Potentially a paper submisison as well

3. ECE: The ECE project for OSAI's program is to develop a High-Speed FPGA based design from the ground up using a completely open source toolchain. Our ultimate goal is to design a printed Circuit Board using a powerful enough FPGA chip to run an open source Softcore RTL Design implementing rv64gc/rv32gc.
