Online webinar series:

Direct delivery at 'The Forest' Estate, Hollywood, Co. Wicklow, W91 W2Y6: 

Part 1: 8th, 9th & 10th, May (3 days)
Part 2: 5th & 6th, June (2 days)
Part 3: 20th, 21st, 22nd, August (3 days)

At present all assessment takes place during the face-to-face training. You will be required to have found a mentor/support person who can observe you during one of the six sessions you run (your pilot), who can act as an observer and provide constructive feedback to you.

Please note you have until 8th May 2022 to return your completed portfolio for the course. The OCN issues an e-certificate upon completion of the course and no longer issues a paper one. After this you will be charged GBP£120.00 re-registration fee to the OCN.

Who is the training designed for?

This Level 3 Training is appropriate for those over the age of 21 years with relevant experience working with groups or qualifications - e.g. teachers, early years practitioners, youth workers, play-workers, rangers, ecologists, SNA's or if you have experience working with young people (preferably) or adults for at least two years. The Level 3 OCN course takes aprox. 180 hrs to complete including self-directed, directed and online learning hours.

Once your booking has been completed and payment received, you will be sent full details of the course including a location map, full directions, work units to complete and what you will need to bring - this will be sent 2/3 weeks before the course starts.

TO CONFIRM YOUR PLACE, A DEPOSIT OF €200 IS DUE WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS ONCE WE SEND YOU A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, AND FULL PAYMENT BY 30 DAYS BEFORE TRAINING STARTS.

Cost and method of payment
The total cost of the training is €1,200
(plus first aid costs of €130 if you choose to book your 16hrs outdoor first aid course through Forest School Ireland at https://forestschoolireland.clr.events/)

Once accepted onto the course, we will email to say you have been offered a place with further information and bank details. In order to confirm your place you need to pay a non-refundable deposit of €200 payable to Forest School Ireland within 5 working days of receiving the acceptance email.

The remaining fee of €1,000 is payable to Forest School Ireland as soon as possible or within 30 days.

Cheques may be accepted if necessary, however online bank transfers are preferable.
Terms and Conditions
By completing this booking form and returning it to us, you agree that any cancellation of your training place would incur a cancellation fee of €200. *
I agree that the full amount of €1,200 must be paid within 30 of being accepted onto the course. If you need to discuss payment please email Ciara at info@forestschoolireland.ie. *
I agree if cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to initial training start date a cancellation fee of €500 will be retained or requested. *
I agree cancellations from two weeks before the date of commencement will be charged at the full price. *
I agree that once training has commenced, there will be no refund. *
Please note you have 12 months to return your completed portfolio from the date you are registered with the Open College Network (OCN). After this you will be charged £120.00 re-registration fee. Do you agree? *
You will need to have a current 16hr outdoor certificate to complete your assessment. If you would like to attend the Remote Emergency Care Level 2 (REC2) training as arranged by Forest School Ireland, please tick below. The cost is €130 and is in addition to the course training fee. Cancellations of the first aid training are subject to cancellation fee of €50. (Occupational or paediatric first aid does not have the required outdoor application.) I agree that if there is a resurgence of the Covid-19 pandemic Circle of Life Rediscovery CIC and host Forest School Ireland cannot offer the face-to-face components as planned, we will need to postpone. Please bear this in mind when booking and you agree dates may be changed as a result of government guidelines.
