Survey on Ciguatera Fish Poisoning in Hawaiʻi
Thank you for your interest in taking an anonymous online survey. This research is being led by Eileen Nalley with support from the National Marine Fisheries Service. This study is being done to better understand the prevalence and impacts of ciguatera fish poisoning (CFP) on Hawaiʻi's fishing communities. CFP is caused by consumption of fish that have accumulated toxins from microalgae, and it can cause a variety of health impacts. In addition to the impacts on your health, we hope to better understand the financial and cultural implications of CFP so that we can work towards solutions to better address this issue. Completing this survey should take 5-10 minutes of your time. Thank you!
