There are countless migrant workers working in our seas.

Yet migrant workers do not receive the minimum wage for their labor, nor do they receive the minimum accident compensation when they are injured.

However, such discriminatory treatment is prohibited by the Constitution, along with various international conventions ratified by Korea.

The Seafarers Act also prohibits discrimination based on nationality.

We dearly request Your Honor make a judgment according to law and principle,

in order to ensure that the numerous migrant workers working devotedly in our seas receive fair and just treatment.
