Parent Workshops
According to the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs, school counselors are expected to provide school wide professional development and parent workshops throughout the school year. The CFISD Counseling Department provides a number of parent workshop opportunities such as internet safety, drug awareness, college night, and the mental health resource fair. At McGown we, too, want to ensure that we are getting parent input on our counseling program. Please complete the short survey to help us best meet the needs of our students and their families.
