Raices Cultura + Western Wind Scholarship Application
Thank you for your interest in applying for this scholarship! This is a newly founded scholarship funded by the Western Wind Foundation and individual donors of Raices Cultura. A total of twenty-six (26) Western Wind Foundation Scholarship awards of $250 will be awarded to current or college-bound Eastern Coachella Valley youth. Students with any declared major may apply however art majors and other creative majors will receive award preference.

Application opens: December 8, 2020
Application - First round deadline: December 20, 2020
Initial Award notifications: December 23, 2020

Application - Second round deadline: rolling until funds are exhausted
Second Award notifications: rolling until all awards announced

Below are the required criteria to apply successfully:
1. Resident of the Eastern Coachella Valley
2. College-bound or current college student
3. Declared creative majors are given award preference
4. Answer all of the application questions completely
5. Current copy of college transcripts (unofficial transcripts accepted)
6. Current class schedule or proposed upcoming class schedule
7. Agree to participate in our social media campaign and related media for promotion of scholarship award
8. If selected, you must submit an official proof of enrollment form from your institution. Funds will not be awarded until your institution's drop date has passed.
