RSVP: Reading by Javier Zamora,
author of Solito Wed., Dec.
6, 5pm-6pm. Room change: E-111
Please join us for a public reading on December 6 by the acclaimed writer Javier Zamora.
Zamora's memoir Solito, about crossing El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico into the U.S. as a nine-year-old, is a New York Times bestseller. It has been described as “a revelation, a new landmark in the literature of migration, and in nonfiction writ large.”
Zamora's reading and Q&A will be from 5pm-6pm in LaGuardia Community College's E building, room E-111 (note the room change). There will be refreshments and a limited number of books for giveaway at the event.
Please submit your name and email below if you plan to attend. You are welcome to bring a class or send students, but please let us know so we can book a larger room if necessary.
