As a community Non-Profit (not limited to local) we hope to provide a platform to showcase and support your efforts at this event by providing a booth space at no cost (regularly $350). We will only be accepting a limited number of Non-Profit booths and once the spaces are filled, we will close the application so we suggest you fill it out as soon as possible! Please note, this is a family friendly community event. Political and Controversial activity will not be allowed you may be asked to leave the event. This includes signage and give-aways as well.
If there is an activity (youth or general) you would like to feature, please let us know in the application and we will include that in our social media. We hope you will join the fun!
Day of Event Schedule:
Vendor Set-up - 7:30am to 9am
Downtown Mermaid Promenade - 10am to NOON
Downtown Street Faire - 12pm to 6pm
Live Music - 1pm to 6pm
Vendors take-down - 6:00 pm Courthouse Area
**This event will take place outdoors RAIN or SHINE. Please plan accordingly.
EVENT RULES AND POLICIES
1. NO USE of GLITTER or any type of micro trash to decorate your booth or costuming allowed. Includes glue on jeweled body embellishments.
Just don’t! We aim to be environmentally friendly during the festival.
2. Each exhibitor MUST HAVE their own trash receptacle located at their booth for use by patrons.
3. Booth spaces are 10x10. You must provide your own tent, tables, supplies, change, etc. * White tents are the standard with the exception of customized tents with your Non-Profit Logo.
4. Set up will begin at 7:30 am for Courthouse and 8:00 am for Street. Take-down is at 6pm. Exhibitors are not permitted to arrive any earlier and must remain open for the entirety of the event, even if you have exhausted supplies. Exhibitors who do not adhere to the event published times will not be invited to submit for future events.
We ask that you pause booth operations during the Mermaid Promenade and enjoy the show! The Mermaid Promenade takes place 10:00 a.m. - Noon along LBJ Street.
5. Live music will be performed throughout the day. Music is not allowed at individual booth spaces.
6. All booth areas must be cleaned by exhibitors after the event. TAKE WHAT YOU BRING! Bring your own trash bags and depart with your trash. Zip ties and other trash left behind at your booth space will be taken to account for future event opportunities. HELP Keep San Marcos Beautiful! For your convenience we will supply a dumpster located at the corner of San Antonio Street/Guadalupe Street. You are welcome to dump trash in this receptacle.
