Threads of Light is a Circle of Trust retreat based on the work of Dr. Parker Palmer and The Center for Courage and Renewal. This darkest day of the year, the Winter Solstice, marks that moment when the sun has moved furthest away from the northern hemisphere and signals the slow return of light. Winter solstice offers us a moment to look back at where we have been, and then to turn around to begin our journey through the darkness of winter looking for the insights and sources of “light” we need for this time in our lives.
