Thank you for helping the "Map-a-Thon" Team to identify "communities of interests" between your community and adjoining towns. The Map-a-Thon is a team of everyday citizens who are directing a technical team of engineers, data analysts, GIS mapping specialists, and others to conduct a fair, nonpartisan and transparent redistricting process. Our maps are intended to set an example of a fair, inclusive process for the NH State Legislature.
A "community of interest" is defined as an area with recognized similarities of interests, including but not limited to economic, social, cultural, geographic, or historic identities. A previous, much longer form (
https://forms.gle/k58vtwkAZX2vC2qH9 ) was circulated earlier in the summer, but we are returning with a smaller form to collect some key information that will help our mappers make decisions on which towns should be put in a district together.
Thank you for your help.
