Which working group are interested in joining? *
Expected time commitment for the working groups varies based on the activities of the group, but plan to devote at least an hour per week per group. For descriptions of the working groups, please see: https://www.softwarepreservationnetwork.org/core-activities/
Could you serve as a coordinator of a working group? *
Working group coordinators are accountable to making monthly working group meetings effective by coordinating the agenda, engaging members before and after the meeting, and ensuring action items are understood and accounted for. They ensure that there are clear next steps from each meeting that support the working group's action plan and SPN’s strategic goals. With the help of SPN staff, they report and communicate their group's work within and beyond SPN, and build up future leadership within their working group. Coordinators attend their monthly WG meeting and one monthly check-in meeting with the other WG coordinators.
