Audition Application - Dynamics 2023-2024
Auditions for Bishop Amat’s pop a cappella group, the Dynamics, will take place after school on Tuesday, August 22nd in the choral room. 

Audition Details:

  1. Complete this application. Application deadline is 8/22/23.

  2. Email Mrs. Jennifer Escovar (jescovar@bishopamat.org) to schedule a 10-minute audition time slot

  3. At the audition, introduce yourself in a way that highlights your personality (30 seconds)

  4. Sing a verse and a chorus of one of your favorite pop songs in a range that highlights your voice. This will be done a cappella. (Approx. 1 min 30 seconds)

  5. Improvise to a backing track that will be provided at the audition (1 minute)

  6. Optional: Beatbox, play an instrument if you have the ability, or display another talent that you think could benefit this ensemble (1 minute)

  7. Note: You will be asked to perform your audition on a microphone (provided)

  8. Students who make it into this group will be enrolled in a zero period class that meets Monday through Friday from 7:10am to 8am. They will also have rehearsals the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6pm to 8pm. Additional rehearsals will be scheduled as needed.
