QED Volunteer Form
Please fill out the form below to volunteer as a helper at QED, Chicago's Youth Mathematics Symposium.  Volunteers should plan on arriving between 8:00 and 8:30 am on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 and staying until about 2pm (awards will go until 3pm).  The Symposium is at Walter Payton College Prep, 1034 N. Wells, in Chicago, just off the Red and Brown lines; parking will be available on the streets around the school; we will email you a permit you can put in your window.

You can also indicate below if you would be interested in being a QED adviser.

Note that if you cannot attend QED, you can still advise! (Of course, we'd be very happy if you were willing to do both).

If you have any further questions, please email qed@mathcirclesofchicago.org.  Thanks!

Becoming an advisor.

An advisor provides support for children around Chicago to do independent math research. For most children, this is a novel experience as they may never have posed a math problem and pursued it before.

You don't have to attend QED to be an advisor. You can be an advisor and a judge. We so appreciate your support.

See Advisor Guidelines here.
