Please complete this form to guide our Gene Dillon Elementary staff in creating a schedule for your child.

5th Grade Music SOAR (Student Opportunities with Academic Resources) choices include:                              
Choir and/or Orchestra (violin, viola or cello)

Choir and Orchestra are offered on a Blue or White Day schedule throughout the school year (every other day) for group rehearsals with performance opportunities twice a year.

Your child may choose either Choir or Orchestra or both.

We will be accepting registration through this google form (online) or a paper form. If utilizing the paper form, please  pick up & drop off at Gene Dillon's Door 1 (place in the Completed homework packet bin). Registration forms must be submitted by May 15th.

Orchestra numbers are LIMITED; so it is vital that you complete and turn your registration in a timely fashion.

Please note that if you select an Orchestra option you are responsible for securing an instrument for your child. On Sept. 3rd, during the Gene Dillon Open House, the gym will be set up for an instrument display with music vendors present who will be available to measure your child for the correctly sized instrument and speak to you about renting one.   (Please do NOT purchase an instrument on e-bay or Amazon.   They are often of poor quality and do not last very long).
