Why should you do this?

Because God wants you to, “Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves!” (2 Corinthians 13:5) That you can take the necessary steps towards having a strong and healthy relationship with Christ. A relationship that is producing great results from your efforts.

As a Christian, each one of us is on a spiritual journey. A journey towards being a true disciple of Jesus Christ. A disciple whose goal is to become like Christ in every aspect of our life. This survey is designed to give you a picture of your spiritual health at this time in your life. You will discover your strengths and weaknesses so that you can determine where you need to focus on improving.

As you complete this assessment process the temptation might be to think your efforts are central to growing spiritually. Remember, becoming like Christ centers on His work in us and not our work for Him. God desires heart change over religious actions. Without question, God does the revealing, the renewing, the empowering, and the recreating. Your part as His disciple is to do the yielding, the submitting, and the obeying.
