We’ll also talk about the arts in relation to COVID-19.

Broadway Sacramento - Hosted by John Goralka
Broadway Sacramento has been presenting quality live theatre to the Sacramento Region since 1951. They present 6 National Broadway Touring shows through the fall, winter and spring, which are performed at the Safe Credit Union Performing Arts Center (formerly Community Center Theater), and produce another 6 shows during the summer season at the Music Circus Pavilion. Guests will hear a brief history of Broadway Sacramento, video clips of past productions and what our future plans entail.

In this age of Zoom, you hear a lot about the difficulties of making genuine connections in the absence of in-person gatherings. Join CLARA to learn first hand how the arts provide schoolchildren with valuable social-emotional connection during distance learning. There will be a brief introduction to some of the basic games we use in our in-school programs -- fun, and you might pick up a few useful pointers yourself!
