NO2 Diffusion Tube Action in Sham Shui Po District

Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is the main air pollutant from motor vehicle exhaust. Prolonged exposure to the high concentration of nitrogen dioxide can cause respiratory problems. CAN is going to launch an air monitoring program “NO2 Diffusion Tube Action” in Sham Shui Po district in October.
The NO2 air monitoring is part of the “Let Our Children Breathe” education community program. It aims to collect street air sample and find out the roadside pollution level in Sham Shui Po. We are recruiting volunteers to help us put the tubes in different locations.

二氧化氮是一種主要由汽車排出的空氣污染物，長期吸入會導致呼吸系统疾病，藉「童享健康空氣」計劃透過監測空氣提高公眾對空氣質素的認知。十月份將首次安裝二氧化氮(NO2)試管去量度深水埗校區路邊的空氣污染狀況。現誠邀義工參與安裝二氧化氮(NO2)試管。
