For the 2023 International Preservation Trades Workshop, the PTN Board has voted to waive the registration fee for qualifying students, apprentices, and emerging professionals.
Who can apply
Students, apprentices, and emerging professions in the preservation trades. Your eligibility will determined through this application.

This section will ask you to provide basic registration information and ways for the PTN Board to verify your status as a student, apprentice, or emerging professional in the preservation trades. - Misia Leonard Scholarship - CLOSED
All Misia Leonard Scholarships have been awarded for 2023.
When to apply
This year, the PTN will waive student registration for up to 25 people. It will be distributed on a rolling basis. Applications are due by August 1. This application will close once all the waived registration fees are assigned.
What to expect
People will receive a waived registration fee in exchange for volunteering at the IPTW. If you are approved, you will be expected to:
- Assist a demonstrator
- Support the conference in another designated role.
These volunteer roles will still allow you to attend demonstrations and sessions. People who received waived registration fees are responsible for all travel, room, and board associated with attending the conference.
