Black Vegfest is a Black-led intersectional organization focused on addressing animal rights, food security, racism, sexism, LGBTQ discrimination, and the issues that keep us from being fully free. Get down with us.

Black VegFest volunteers during their voluntarism are duty bound to their People and the cause of lifting up their community and fellow person. Whether you are helping to greet attendees, prepare a meal or drive items to a Black VegFest destination, we thank you for including us in your voluntarism work. It means you chose to be with us during your free time. After working your mind and body for you and whomever else you thought we were dope enough to spend a moment with. We want to punctuate that with love for us.

Please volunteer with us if you will be kind but clear with other volunteers and attendees. Only volunteer with us if we can borrow your precious time to be productive. Not work hard, but work productive. Be helpful and polite to all our community visitors but Crystal Clear. Like, "go get Crystal!" The community relies on you, especially those who help us out regularly. Most especially, those who have volunteered countless times with us.

Spread Love I signifies we spread love after we build and cultivate internally, for once and for ALL. We start with what we hope for, love. Black VegFest will be focused on love and fun. Building and cultivating says how we make beautiful spaces like Black VegFest, AfroPunk, Vegan Soulfest or 50 years of the International African Arts Festival.
