SPARC Innovation Capture
Supporting Pastoralism and Agriculture in Recurrent and Protracted Crises (SPARC) aims to generate evidence and address knowledge gaps to build the resilience of millions of pastoralist and agro-pastoralist communities in fragile and conflict-affected situations (FCAS) in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.

We strive to create impact by using research and evidence to develop knowledge that improves how the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), donors, Non-Governmental Organisations, local and national governments, and civil society can empower communities in the context of climate change.

SPARC is continually updating its database of innovation in the drylands and fragile and conflict-affected situations. We use insights shared through our networks to identify innovations that would benefit from research to investigate the barriers to scaling innovation in drylands and understanding how we can scale innovation.

To share innovations with SPARC, please complete and submit the below.

We are growing our networks and you can help us find innovations that may fly under the radar.  You can share your own innovations or details on innovations you have seen or experienced first-hand. We do require contacts of individuals or organizations we can follow-up with. We will follow-up with shared contacts to learn more about the innovation and discuss the stage of innovation development and scaling.  Innovations that meet SPARC's priorities will be considered for research partnership.

Please contact us at enquiries@sparc-knowledge.org if you have questions about the Innovation Landscape Analysis or SPARC in general.
