2022 Nebraska Thespians Workshop, Vendor, College Audition and Adjudicator Registration

We are busy preparing for the 2022 Nebraska State Thespian Festival to be held in Omaha at the Doubletree Hotel and Holland Performing Arts Center. The festival will take place on January 6, 7, and 8 in 2022. Please read below for opportunities to participate in our Festival and then complete the online registration form at the links provided.

VENDOR (College or Commercial): The Vendor Area will be located at the Double Tree Mezzanine Level during the following hours: THURSDAY, JANUARY 6th (3:00-6:00pm, 9:30-11:30pm) FRIDAY, JANUARY 7th (1:00-6:00pm) and SATURDAY, JANUARY 8th (8:00-11:00am) Cost is $100 per table. Tables will be assigned in order of submission.

COLLEGE AUDITIONS RECRUITER: College Auditions will be held in advance of Festival via an online video submission platform. As an audition recruiter you will have access to student's submissions and will be able to use Festival time for networking and meeting students. A callback room is available upon request. Cost is $100 to participate and that includes a table at our Vendor Fair.

THESPYS ADJUDICATOR: The State Board would like to invite you to apply to adjudicate our Thespys Acting and Technical Events. All adjudication for the Thespys will take place in advance of the Festival with an online program called Open Water. Students will upload their Thespy video to the site and you will watch and score the performance online. Compensation is $100

WORKSHOP PRESENTER: The wide variety of workshops offered at the state festival are of special interest to our students. We ask that any workshops you present be participatory or “hands on” in nature. As a workshop presenter we ask you to present for all three workshop slots (the same workshop multiple times or three different workshops) on FRIDAY, JANUARY 7th (1:00-4:30pm). Compensation is $150.

All adults must complete a background check in order to attend Nebraska Thespian Festival 2022. If not completing the BACKGROUND CHECK VERIFICATION FORM you will receive an email with a direct link to submit your information to Trak-1, accredited background screeners.This must be completed successfully by December 1st in order to attend Festival. Nebraska Thespians will cover the cost of TWO adults for your organization including the email above and one more below. Each additional adult will cost $6.00 and we will follow up directly to get additional emails.
