Learn how to make direct change and promote workplace violence prevention at your workplace

Are you interested in organizing your facility around workplace violence prevention? Do you see potential or actual problems with violence you see at your workplace? Perhaps something unsafe has happened to you or a co-worker and you want to do something about it? For us, that means getting organized.

In this workshop series, based on the IMPACT’s public awareness Workplace Violence campaign, you will learn how to recognize the different types of workplace violence, identify risk factors of workplace violence, explain the consequences of workplace violence in your workplace, build campaigns to address the issue, anticipate management tricks and traps, and inspire your peers and co-workers to fight together for change.

We are committed to employing tried and true organizing methods, backed by the latest evidence, to empower you in your efforts to address workplace violence prevention. Together, we will work towards ensuring that management listens and takes action on this critical issue.
