At Sandy Secondary School, we are always delighted when a student wants to take the opportunity of learning a musical instrument or wishes to take their playing further. We believe that this is the opportunity to explore a lifelong interest in Music.

We have a fantastic team of highly qualified and experienced instrumental tutors who come into school weekly to deliver lessons on a range of instruments. We currently offer instrumental tuition on:

-Piano/keyboard
-Singing/voice
-Drum kit
-Violin / viola
-Guitar
-Bass
-Brass (trumpet / trombone / horn / euphonium / tuba)
-Woodwind (clarinet / saxophone / flute)

Lessons take place during the school day on a rotating basis so that pupils do not miss the same subject classes each week. It is not possible to fix lessons outside of lesson times. In order for your child to make progress, they must practice their instrument between their lessons.

If you would like your child to start individual instrumental or singing lessons, please complete this form. We will pass the information you have provided, which includes your contact details, to the relevant visiting teacher(s). They will contact you directly with a copy of their own Terms and Conditions for you to review and sign, and will make any necessary arrangements with you for your child to start their lesson(s), including information regarding times, payment, cancellation and how to contact them.

We need to collect certain information from you in order to make arrangements for these lessons, and this Google Form has been designed to collect only the information needed for this purpose. We need to share it with the appropriate visiting teachers so that they can contact you to arrange the lessons and payments. If you do not provide this information and/or you do not want us to share it with the visiting teachers, we will not be able to register your child’s interest in receiving instrumental tuition. By submitting this form, you give permission to pass on your contact details to your child’s instrumental tutor.
