What to Expect

Who We Are

ChallengeWorks provides experience-based training and development utilizing a ropes/challenge course. Throughout our program, we use the experiential learning framework. We provide hands-on experiences and discuss what happened, what this tells us, and how we can apply it to real-life experiences.

We organize a sequence of activities that require you and your group to think, move, and grow together. We are a program that builds relationships, community, camaraderie, and much more.

What is a Ropes/Challenge Course?

A ropes/challenge course is constructed of low ropes and high ropes activities.

Low ropes provide group problem-solving events on or near the ground. High ropes provide high challenges 30 to 50 feet off the ground (i.e., the high ropes portion may or may not be included in your program and will depend on which package was selected for your program by the main point of contact).

Although the activities at the challenge course involve physical action, the goals of the program would not be served if the activities were so strenuous as to prohibit participation.

At all times participants will be encouraged to choose their level of participation during activities.

Tip: Bring an open mind! 😊
Participant Guidelines
Please Note.
Starting in December 2023, we’ve wrapped all climbing poles in hardware cloth (metal mesh) to protect against woodpeckers. This may increase the potential for clothing snags or minor cuts, so please wear clothing you don’t mind potentially getting caught or scratched.
