Egloskerry Reconnection Week - Register
Please complete the following survey for all of the children who attend Egloskerry Primary, even if you do not wish for them to return before September. If you have more than 1 child at Egloskerry, please complete the survey for each child. In the unlikely event that we cannot accommodate your child in school from this date, I will contact you by Wednesday 8th July.

If you choose to send your child/ren into school for Reconnection week, your child/ren will be expected to be in school for every day - there is not a part time option. The timetable and staffing allocations can be viewed below. This clearly maps out the timetable for the end of term for all pupils.

The overarching principle for wider school opening is to support children’s social and emotional needs and develop confidence for the new school year in September.

We will achieve this by:
Providing all pupils with an opportunity to reconnect with their school environment, teachers and year group peers before the summer holidays
Providing our Y6 pupils and their families with an opportunity to celebrate and spend time in their Primary school before the next phase of their education
Providing our EYFS to Y5 pupils an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Autumn topic. They are then familiar with the themes that await them as they transition to a new year group and/or class in September
Providing our parents/carers, of children who haven’t returned, some respite before the Summer holidays.

Many thanks,
Mrs Kerr

Egloskerry School offer from Monday 13th July: Each bubble can have a maximum of 15 pupils. Y6 children have the opportunity to join us however they will be in a bubble where we can accommodate them. This might not necessarily be with their chosen friend. Some bubbles have space as their year group size is lower than 15. The Y6  pupils have a special Leavers' day just for them on Tuesday 21st July.

Would you have suitable plans in place to immediately collect your child if they were showing symptoms consistent with Covid-19?

I understand and agree that if there are extremely poor weather conditions forecast the school may not be able to accommodate all bubbles. This could result in my child's bubble being closed. (This decision would always be made by the Principal 3pm the day before). Please answer Yes/No, or provide more details:
