On Tuesday, March 15th at 6pm EST, Vic Records will be holding an online panel event that will take you behind the scenes of music, exploring professions such as producer, composer, studio manager, publicist, etc. This is a great way to learn about the industry and possible vocations, and to ask your questions! Panelist Bios:

Eric Alper - Publicist and Music Commentator

For the past 25+ years, Eric Alper has been at the forefront of the Canadian entertainment industry – making the Public in Public Relations his business. His enthusiasm, encyclopedic knowledge of the past and present have made him the go-to for music in Canada. He is also host of one of the top-rated SiriusXM shows “ThatEricAlper”. With over one million followers, friends and connections across his social media platforms, it’s clear to understand why he has been named a “must follow” by Billboard, Paste and National Post among others. Roy Hamilton III - Producer and Founder of The Singers Company

Roy Hamilton III is an American Grammy nominated/Multi-award winning music producer, songwriter and A&R executive. Collectively, these skills and abilities have helped to sell over 70 million albums worldwide for record labels & artists like: Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, NSync, Backstreet Boys, Austin French, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Capitol Records, RCA Records, Universal Music Group and many more. Roy is also the grandson of the legendary R&B/Pop singer Roy Hamilton, best known for: You’ll Never Walk Alone, Unchained Melody, Ebb Tide, You Can Have Her and many more.

Jeff Wolpert - Music Technology & Digital Media Director at the University of Toronto, Owner and Chief Engineer of Desert Fish Studios

A multi-award-winning engineer, mixer, producer, editor, and educator, Wolpert has worked with some of the biggest names in today's entertainment industry. He is the owner and chief engineer of the multi-room facility Desert Fish Studios located in downtown Toronto a Dolby Certified ATMOS Music facility and has won 3 JUNO Awards for Recording Engineer of the Year. He is the Director of and Adjunct Professor in the Master of Music in Music Technology and Digital Media graduate program at the University of Toronto where he co-authored the recently released paper entitled "The Effects of Rhythmic Auditory Music Stimulation for Exercise Among Cardiac Rehabilitation Patients". Known for his mastery of recording and intricate mixing, Wolpert is also recognized for his vast musical, technical and computer knowledge.
