2023-2024 Dancer Registration

Concert Dancers: September 10 - April 6 (7 months)

Concert + Competitive Dancers: September 10 - May 26 (9 months)

**If you are enrolling after September 10th, please fill out the form and we will coordinate private lessons or you can join the January-March New Dancer Intro Class to prepare you to join your group class**

Classes will be held at the East Lansing Ice Cube (formerly Suburban Ice East Lansing) in the dance studio. All registered participants will also receive a Zoom link that will work for any Monday class and the advanced Sunday classes if necessary. Classes with fewer than 4 dancers registered are subject to cancellation.

Classes may be made up on the opposite day (ex. Sunday classes can come to or join virtually on Mondays if there is a missed class). We will also offer sporadic make-up days throughout the season as needed.

Dancers are encouraged to wear workout attire (preferably shorts and a tank top, but most fitted clothing is fine), knee socks, and a dance shoe (ghillies for advanced dancers, ballet shoes/jazz shoes/similar are acceptable for starting out). Clothing needs to be not loose to prevent tripping hazards while dancing.

No Classes: November 20, 26, December 24, 25, 31, January 1, March 31, April 1 (concert rehearsal date TBD week of April 1-5).

Do you have a concert theme idea you'd like considered?

A PayPal invoice will be emailed to you monthly or you can subscribe to your class(es) on the website directly. You are welcome to pay via cash, check, PayPal, or Venmo. Please indicate if you'd like to be billed each month or if you'd prefer to pay multiple months at once and to which email you'd like the invoice sent. If you need to cancel at any point, we will require one month's notice and payment for cancellation.

I understand dance and related activities involve risk of injury. I agree I will not hold the Gibson School of Highland Dance, the center where class is held, or Mrs. Allison Gibson Murad responsible for any injuries/damages incurred while participating in or visiting dance classes.

Due to the nature of a dance class, some touching and/or placement of proper dance positions might be involved. I understand and accept this.
