Care Team Application: Spring 2024

The Care Team ministry of LifePointe Church provides a link from our church family to those who are not always able to attend regularly. We especially try to connect with the widows and widowers of our church, those who are shut-in or facing chronic illness, single moms and anyone else who needs a loving word of encouragement.

We have a team of care people who have a heart of compassion and a gift of mercy who reach out to these people. They send cards, make telephone calls, or visit these lonely people to keep them in touch with our church family and also to be the hands and feet of Jesus in ministering to their needs.

If you were to join this team you would be assigned 2 or 3 people to connect with one time per month for a period of 6 months. We have two training sessions per year (each 1.5 hours long). This small investment in people pays great dividends in love and encouragement.

Thank you for your care for people God loves. Because this is a ministry to people who are vulnerable, we want to take precautions to protect both the caregiver and those to whom we minister. Therefore, we do require background checks and personal references.

After reviewing your application and references, we will have our background check vendor (a company called "Checkr") contact you via email to start the background check process. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with this process!
