Please complete this form if you wish to nominate a student for EXCELLENCE in one or more of the following areas: vocational, academic, or leadership. The deadline for nominations is Friday, December 23rd.
Please keep the following criteria in mind when nominating a student:
VOCATIONAL EXCELLENCE
1. Exceptional quality performance
2. Exceptional competency in the use of tools, equipment, and materials
3. Use and/or develop craftsmanship outside of school
4. Demonstrate exceptional creativity and originality
5. Takes work seriously; seems to find much satisfaction in it.
6. Is willing to try out new materials and experiences.
7. Is interested in other people's craft and work. Can appreciate, criticize, and learn from other's work.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
1. Exceptional work
2. Exceptional attitude and effort
3. Demonstrates a genuine passion for the subject area
EXCELLENCE IN LEADERSHIP
1. Takes initiative
2. Positive attitude
3. Works to create a positive impact on the school community
All students who are nominated will receive a pass to a brief meeting in January where they will be given more information about the program requirements and deadlines.
