Thank you for requesting an application form to attend our International Literacy Training Institute (ILTI), to be held from September 13th through October 2nd, 2020, in a virtual, online format. ILTI offers a three-week modular training, in which participants will choose the particular training modules that fit with their interests and calling. Specifically, in addition to common courses that all ILTI participants will complete, you will choose between Leading a Literacy Ministry: English and Leading a Literacy Ministry: Non-English, between English as a Second Language and Primer Construction, and also between Leadership and Facilitating Online Courses. As you fill out this application, make sure that you complete all sections and pages. Please note that you must be able to speak English proficiently and also to read and write English well in order to be accepted for this ILTI.

Applications WILL NOT be considered until all sections are completed and other requested documents are submitted (see below). ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY JULY 15, 2020.

Please note that a literacy ministry requires teamwork. Literacy & Evangelism International (LEI) is committed to working with local churches, Christian organizations, and mission agencies in order to fulfill Christ’s Commission. You will be asked to identify on your application which of these groups you will be working with to fulfill your literacy or ESL ministry.
