Set amidst the stunning vintage Victorian mansions of Heritage Square Museum Park, it will be an event you don't want to miss.
This highly curated, marketplace swap meet will focus on offerings of gently used, vintage, and original Halloween decor, furnishings, costumes, props and various other spooky items. You may sell products you are known for, however, you have a better chance of being approved if you have have used items to sell (think Halloween garage sale!). Spooky Swap Meet just sounds better than Spooky Garage Sale, no?
Clear out those overflowing Halloween storage units and share the wealth. As the saying goes, one person's trash is another's treasure! Please note, although this is a "swap meet", booth space must be arranged in an attractive manner that is visually appealing (blankets on the ground style is not acceptable).
If you've got spooky items you are ready to part with, you qualify and in fact gives you a better chance of getting in! Please note, you must have enough inventory to sell for all three days as you may not vend for only part of the time. You must commit to all three days in order to qualify.
We have a very limited number of vendor/booth spots available and will be choosing participants based upon originality and fit of product to the swap meet/garage sale/flea market theme. Prior involvement doesn't guarantee approval.
Basic Stats:
Booth cost: $425.00
Booth outdoor area approximately 10'x10': participant to provide their own table, chairs and tent with at least two sidewalls. Roof cover is HIGHLY recommended (the sun is bright and hot in most outdoor areas of Heritage Square). You will need to provide your own light sources for the evening hours! Battery operated lamps etc. There will be ambient lighting, but not enough for each individual booth. Electricity will not be available.
Location: Heritage Square Museum Park, 3800 Homer St, Los Angeles, CA 90031 (outdoor venue)
PLEASE NOTE GUEST ENTRY IS FROM PASADENA AVE - Homer St is exhibitor entrance only.
Dates: Friday April 26, Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28, 2024.
Hours: Friday, 5pm-10pm, Saturday 11am-8pm and Sunday 10am-5pm.
Load in will be Thursday April 25 (afternoon only) and Friday, April 26 (morning only) (appointment slots provided). ABSOLUTELY NO SATURDAY OR SUNDAY SET-UP, Friday is now a show day. Specific load in time slots will be provided upon acceptance and full payment of vendor fee.
Insurance (approximately $50) and temp sellers permits (free) required to be obtained by participant. Recommendations as to where to obtain both (if you don't have your own insurance or current sales permit) are in contract which will be provided upon approval to participate in the swap meet.

Spooky Swap Meet is a fee-based, ticketed and timed entry event.
A portion of proceeds from all ticket sales goes toward the Heritage Square non-profit foundation for maintenance of this rare and distinct Los Angeles treasure.
