Multi-Season Tourism Product Development Fund

FORMERLY THE DISCOVER CHARLOTTETOWN IGNITION FUND

The program is designed to help private operators come up with new products & inspired ideas outside of what they already offer throughout the year and encourage locals and visitors to get out and enjoy all the city has to offer, specifically in the shoulder season.

This fund also intends to increase programming/infrastructure/memorable/"Instagrammable" moments.

Other benefits include:
  • More reasons for visitors and Islanders to visit Charlottetown
  • Ability for operators to retain staff (year-round and into the shoulder season)
  • Busier restaurants, accommodations, shops/retailers & experience providers
  • Strengthen shoulder season product offerings 
  • Increased infrastructure that will help establish Charlottetown as a hub of activity, inspiration, and "Instagrammable" moments year-round
  • Reduce risk to pilot new ideas 

Applications will be reviewed as they come in, and funding will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the grant is gone. All projects must be completed by April 30, 2024. This project is made possible with funding support from the Province of PEI.
