TIS 4th grade Band Sign-Up January 2021
Joining the TIS Band is a refreshing, creative opportunity for all. The amazing journey of learning an instrument is a truly unique experience. It is important to understand that being an instrumentalist will require daily, disciplined practice. (10 minutes per day) This tremendous opportunity should be looked at as a focused commitment not only for the rest of this school year, but hopefully in 5th grade Band and beyond :)

This commitment is important and instrument playing proficiency will not be immediate. It will take time and practice to get a rewarding sound on your instrument but we will have fun getting there!

I am so looking forward to teaching 4th grade Band!

TIS INSTRUMENT CLASS SCHEDULE:
Being part of the band means that each week, you will have  SMALL GROUP instruction time whether you are an in-person learner or a remote learner.  This year, we are using a rotating pull-out schedule during the school day. 4th grade Band Students will have their Band class on a fixed day of the week (either Tuesday or Friday)  but the time of the class will change weekly.  Band is a graded class.  60 minutes per week of Home Practice is recommended for success and is an important commitment for students to make.     Please use this section to ask any questions or to let me know how I can help you.
